On this day, July 20, 1977, Elanna Allen was born in Chicago, Illinois. Allen is a creator of animated content for television and an author/illustrator. After training at Brown University and RISD, Allen began creating short films. She has worked for MTV Animation and for Nickelodeon. In 2011 she released her first children’s book, Itsy Mitsy Runs Away.
