On this day, February 2, 2009, illustrator Beth Krush died in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Krush and her husband Joe, collaborated on the illustrations for the American edition of The Borrowers series of books by Mary Norton. Beth Krush also illustrated the Newbery award winning story, Miracles on Maple Hill by  by Virginia Sorenson.
